Holy Canoli!

Totally forgot we had this picture taken at the Joseph Smith Building during Christmas 2018! And yes that's the Manti Temple behind us. We were able to select a temple that they put on a screen and then we stood in front of it.  This was my first time to see the lights on temple square and I loved it all!

Okay, so what new thrifty thing did I learn? I have a sour dough started going! My co-worker Suzi gave it to me and I am loving it. Dad said he wasn't a big fan of sour dough anything but I made some awesome dinner rolls with them that your dad liked. Score! I've been busy lately so I haven't had the chance to make anything else but I'm going to try sour dough pancakes this week! I'll let you know how it goes.

Trying new things and learning new skills saves us money and helps us to step our of our comfort zone. It's all about being willing to make the attempt and seeing if it's right for you.

I am trying to cut my grocery bill down even more and so when dad gives me money for food I hide it away and then IF we need something I can pull out the money for it. But using what we have is best and I love watching my little nest egg grow! What will I use it for? Well, Easter is coming and grandchildren must have new ties and dresses! Right?

Love you all!
