An oldie but a goodie!
I made sour dough English muffins on Friday and we made mini-pizzas with them! I am trying harder to use up what we have. We had leftover sour dough pancakes for dinner last week which I used for my breakfast 3 times the following week. They were so good! For dinner tonight I threw the leftover pork chops and sauce into a slow cooker and added green peppers, onions and shredded zucchini for fajitas.
I have set a goal that after I retire I will make all of our bread items so that not only do I have that skill but we will know for sure what's in our foods. One of the blogs I follow mentioned that many food prices are going to go up due to all the flooding and storms we've had this winter across the country. I challenge each of you to learn a new skill and I know that you will feel successful and motivated to do more!
