Little Cutie-Patooties!
They're growing like the cutest little weeds! And can you believe how well they hold their heads up? We sure do have the cutest and smartest grandchildren ever! (Completely unbiased opinion of course!)
For 3 days in a row now I have found 5 eggs in the coop! Thank goodness I love having eggs every morning for breakfast! I really enjoy having these chickens and I'm so glad for the talents of dad who built the coop and supports me in our little urban homestead right here in the city! There is something about growing your own food and raising your own eggs that makes me happy. And with the news announcing a food recall almost every week I like knowing where most of our food comes from and what's in it! And I love having this awesome apron that the sweet ladies at school had made for me as a retirement gift.
