Dad's Very Busy Week!

I love, love, love my new sink. It looks great in the kitchen and gives me another inch of depth! 

So this is what the old lighting fixture looked like. Very old-fashioned and HUGE! I've been wanting this gone for a while but we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a replacement. We are really working to pay off the house! 

So at a garage sale last Saturday Dad sees this great light fixture. He texts me a picture and I of course say, 'buy it'. It's just what I want. It's simple and absolutely perfect. So Dad brings it home and tells me that when he first saw it, he noticed it was $10.00. Too much, he thinks. Then he begins to notice that there are a bunch of 1/2 price signs all around. Yessiree! He got this great light fixture for $5.00! Thank you very much! Even Dave Ramsey would approve!!!

Your Dad is amazing and I am so glad that we have passed our spendthrift gifts on to each of you! It doesn't take a lot of money to live life, only hard work and of course prayers to Heavenly Father to bless you with those things that you need!
